On March 25, 2024, China Security and Protection Group Co., Ltd. (CSP) was invited to the “National Workshop for Party Organizations in the Security Industry” organized by China Security Association. Held at the “Gutian Official Training School” in Longyan, Fujian Province, the learning activity brought together the secretaries and key members of Party organizations from nearly 120 security companies in the national security industry. At the opening ceremony, Liu Huanghe, President of Gutian Official Training School, delivered a warm welcome speech and made an introduction to Gutian, and Wu Xiaoyan, Secretary General of China Security Association, put forward the requirements for the trainees and expressed his kindly encouragement and high expectations. In the next few days of study, organized by the coordinator of China Security Association and the head teacher of the workshop, the trainees jointly sent flower baskets to the statue of Mao Zedong, and visited a number of sacred places for the revolution, including the site of the Gutian Meeting of 1929, Memorial Hall of the Gutian Meeting, Memorial Hall of Mao Zedong's Visit to Caixi Township, site of the Soviet Government in Caixi District, Shanghang, and the starting point of the Long March of the 9th Army of the CWPRA. During these visits, the trainees received micro-class-based lectures on the spot, recalling together with the lecturers the revolutionaries' glorious history and hard revolutionary struggles. In the classroom of the School, the trainees attended the theory courses on Party building by three professors from the School of the CPC Central Committee and the Party School of the CPC Longyan Municipal Committee, strengthening their in-depth understanding of resolutely implementing Xi Jinping Thought on strengthening the rule of law of socialism with Chinese characteristics under the new circumstances. In the revolutionary song class organized by the School, the trainees learned to sing revolutionary songs together, listened to the revolutionary stories behind the songs, and had a singing competition. In such a scene, we were baptized by the revolution, as if we had traveled back to the hard times when the revolutionaries fought with high spirit and great passion.

The training was closed throughout, making it intense and fulfilling. After the solemn closing ceremony on the evening of March 28, 2024, the national workshop for secretaries of party organizations in the security industry came to a successful conclusion. Every trainee received a red certificate of completion and gained a lot in their thoughts. The workshop is of great significance. In addition to the well-designed course system close to the reality of the security industry, the organizer also invited three professors with profound theoretical foundation and rich practical experience to give lectures to the trainees. The professors explained the theory of Party building, the policies and regulations of the security industry and the new requirements for Party building in the new era in simple terms. Unlike the cramming education that most people may imagine, the course content was not boring at all. Specifically, in a vivid teaching form, the professors explained the truth with cases, analyzed cases with theory, and presented specific contents close to work. In this way, they led the trainees to a more accurate position and a broader perspective to examine their respective identities and positions. Through reflections, the trainees were clearer about their own responsibilities and future commitment. For example, through the study, we have deeply understood the important guiding significance of the principles of "strengthening the Party ideologically and the military politically" established at the Gutian Meeting of 1929 for strengthening the Party building in the new era; we have also gained a deep understanding of the great relevance and far-reaching historical significance of the process of sublimation from strengthening the development of socialist rule of law to the establishment of a socialist rule of law system. The workshop was a feast of knowledge, a revolutionary practice, and a profound baptism of our outlook on life. It is like a lighthouse that lights up the way to ideological progress of the trainees as Party members, and strengthens our ideal and determination to “stay committed to our original aspiration, bravely undertake our mission, and seize and live the day to the full”.

Moreover, taking this opportunity, security peers from all over the country gathered together to study for common improvements. We discussed the hotspots and difficulties in the industry, shared successful experiences and explored solutions together. The collision of ideas, fusion of wisdom and common inspiration at the workshop not only broadened our work ideas, but also enhanced the friendship and cooperation among peers. After we returned to our respective posts, this unusual spirit and friendship will continue to accompany us, transforming into a strong driving force for the innovative development of the security industry. Finally, as secretaries of Party organizations or organizational backbones in the security industry, the trainees encouraged each other upon departure and made the following commitments. Returning with the results of this study, we will not only strive to become experts in our business, but also clarify our political position and always remain loyal to the party.
